Quick Cheap Horse Shelter
We rescued a pony from the kill pens. Our neighbor generously allowed her to stay in their pasture, but it had no shelter. So my daughter and I built a nice shelter in a few hours for less than $100!
It had to be mobile in case it needed to be moved, leave no permanent marks on the property, and be easily torn down once the pony finds her forever home.
Materials
3 12' horse panels (free/donated)
3 16' X 4' welded wire hog/cattle panels (about $20 each)
1 20'x12' heavy duty tarp ($30 at Walmart)
zip ties and/or rope (baling twine works)
U-shaped stakes (optional)

Tarp Halfway InstalledHUGE storm blew through just as we were attaching the tarp. We had to un-attach the leeward side to not pull out the grommets. Try to attach tarp when there's no wind!
